Juvenile Justice Degrees

Juvenile justice professionals work as judges, juvenile probation officers, juvenile court attorneys, and counselors.  As the name suggests, juvenile justice professionals work primarily with minors that may be considered troubled teens, minors that have committed a crime and may be facing charges, and minors that may be working their way through the system or leaving it.

Homeland Security Degrees

If you’ve never heard of a homeland security degree program, you’re not alone. Most people have no idea this degree exists; but government agencies, defense contractors, and private companies such as Lockheed Martin Corp. are well aware of this major and are actively recruiting graduates from the more than 300 colleges that offer instruction in homeland security.

Fire Science Degrees

A degree in fire science can lead to a career as a fire investigator, fire officer, fire prevention specialist, fire scientist, fire investigator, and of course fireman. Degree options include fire science technology, fire service management, and bachelors of applied science in fire science management or emergency management and planning.
